A. Definisi Adat dan Urf Definisi adat: العادة ما استمرّ الناس عليه على حكم المعقول وعادوا اليه مرّة بعد أخرى Adat adalah suatu perbuatan atau perkataan yang terus menerus dilakukan oleh manusia lantaran dapat diterima akal dan secara kontinyu manusia mau mengulangnya.

Manakah Yang Lebih Tepat, Istilah Udhiyah Atau Kurban?

Istilah kurban dan udhiyyah ini bagi seseorang cukup membuat bingung. Pasalnya banyak sekali penggunaan dua kata ini ketika menggambarkan tentang penyembelihan pada Idul adha. Tentu saja yang bingung adalah orang yang tidak faham. Bagi yang faham tentu mengerti mana yang paling tepat. Untuk mengetahuinya kita perlu memaparkan arti dari dua kalimat tersebut, baik secara bahasa maupun istilah. 1. Udhiyyah. Secara bahasa ‘ udhiyyah’ sebagaimana yang ditulis oleh Ibnu Mandzur artinya adalah: ارْتِفاعُ النهار “naiknya matahari menjelang siang (waktu dhuha)” [1] . dinamakan ‘udhiyyah’ karena disembelihnya hewan pada saat itu. Setidaknya ada dua alasan kenapa kita harus berislam sebagaimana Rasulullah dan para sahabat berislam. Mahar Istri dan Putri Nabi

Sebenarnya berapa jumlah mahar yang harus diberikan kepada wanita tidak terikat. Berapapun itu, karena Rasulullah sendiri tidak pernah mematok berap jumlah mahar yang harus diberikan kepada Fatimah putri beliau ketika menikahkan Ali. Beliau bahkan meminta kepada Ali baju besi yang dimiliki Ali untuk dijadikan mahar. Artinya mau memberikan mahar tinggi tidak masalah, atau mau memberi mahar rendah juga tidak masalah. Meminta mahar tinggi juga tidak masalah, meminta rendah juga tidak masalah. Yang pasti tinggi rendahnya sebuah mahar dalam agama Islam itu sama sekali tidak ada hubungannya tinggi rendahnya derajat wanita yang di nikahi. Diriwayatkan dari Ibnu Umar bahwa Umar bin Khattab r.a. berkhutbah dihadapan orang-orang. Ia mengatakan, “Wahai manusia, janganlah kalian permahal mahar para wanita. Sebab jika wanita itu terhormat, tak seorangpun di antara kalian yang lebih layak memberikan mahar mahal daripanda Nabi s.a.w. Beliau sendiri tidak pernah memberikan mahar yang mahal...

Hukum Makan-Makan Untuk Rumah Baru

Selametan rumah baru hukumnya sunnah Disebutkan dalam Al Mawsu’ah Al Fiqhiyah (8/207), الْوَلِيمَةُ لِلْبِنَاءِ مُسْتَحَبَّةٌ ، كَبَقِيَّةِ الْوَلاَئِمِ الَّتِي تُقَامُ لِحُدُوثِ سُرُورٍ أَوِ انْدِفَاعِ شَرٍّ “Acara makan-makan untuk rumah baru itu dianjurkan sebagaimana walimah (acara makan-makan) lainnya (seperti pada pernikahan) yang di mana walimahan tersebut dilakukan untuk berbagi kebahagiaan atau menghilangkan suatu bahaya (rasa tidak senang dari lainnya).”

TANDA HARI KIAMAT: TERSEBARNYA KEMASIATAN

Sebelum kiamat akan terjadi, ada tanda-tanda yang telah diberitahukan oleh Rasulullah saw.. tanda-tandanya sangat banyak. Namun, di antara tanda-tanda itu adalah tersebarnya kemaksiatan di tengah-tengah manusia. Kami tidak menemukan hadits yang secara eksplisit lafalnya seperti itu. Namun banyak sekali hadits yang secara tersirat memiliki makna yang sama. Artinya kiamat akan tegak jika memang kemaksiatan menjadi hal yang lumrah di tengah masyarakat. Haditsnya sebagaimana yang diriwayatkan oleh Anas bin Malik bahwa Rasulullah saw. bersabda, إن من أشراط الساعة: أن يرفع العلم و يثبت الجهل و يشرب الخمر و يظهر الزنا “Sesungguhnya termasuk tanda-tanda kiamat adalah: diangkatnya ilmu (hilang), kokohnya kebodohan, minuman keras banyak dikonsumsi dan perzinahan yang terang-terangan.” (Hr.
